About the ATC

We serve the community of Dog lovers in greater Atlanta by sponsoring Dog shows, earth dog, puppy matches, and fun casual dog events.

OUR PAST…The Atlanta Terrier Club is an all-terrier breed dog club serving the dog fancy in metro Atlanta, Georgia since 1995. Our mission is to promote, advance and protect the interests of purebred terrier dogs and to encourage good sportsmanship at all canine events as recognized by the American Kennel Club, and to educate the fancy, government and the public regarding responsible dog ownership. The Atlanta Terrier Club is a member of the American Kennel Club.

OUR PRESENT…Today, we serve Atlanta and surrounding communities, giving dog fanciers in the entire metro area a club to call their own. Members meets consist of events or dinner and an informative speaker. We sponsor two major dog shows annually which attract over 200 entries each.  We have also offered, Scent work, Barn Hunt, Diving Dogs, and other Canine Sporting events. There is something for every dog and its owner.

OUR FUTURE…The Atlanta Terrier Club invites you to join with us in our love of Dogs. Visit our meetings, which are open to the public, and above all, come to our Dog Shows! There you will find the finest terrier dogs of every breed – and their enthusiastic owners. We love our terriers, and love having fun with our dogs!
